Appropriations recommended by the Florida Legislature for the Divisions of Cultural Affairs' and Historical Resources' grants programs, Florida Humanities Council, and Arts for a Complete Education are safe. The Cultural Council has been working with County Administration and County Commissioners to restore the funding for the Community Cultural Development Funds (C-1). As you know, the County is facing a $48 million deficit based on the current millage. Be at the next Budget Workshop meeting on Monday, July 11, 2011 to speak up!
