Downtown Lake Worth, located in the central part of Palm Beach County, captivates visitors with its neighborhood feel and sense of diversity. The city's boutiques, galleries, restaurants and famous old theater, the Lake Worth Playhouse, make for a unique South Florida experience.

Lots of festivals

That community feeling is supported and encouraged by the Greater Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce, which produces the weekly "Evening on the Avenue" and the world-famous Street Painting Festival each February, when the streets of Lake Avenue are transformed into colorful masterpieces. Lake Worth also has a Reggae Festival and outdoor jazz concerts and art walks. What a great little city!
